Smoke on the Water Dragonboat Crew, affectionately know as "Smoke", is a dragon boat paddlers cooperative established in 1998.We are comprised of a diverse group of individuals who share a love for paddling and competition. We work hard and enjoy a relaxed social atmosphere with no hype or headgames. We are a mixed crew of men and women between the ages of 20 and 50 something. We love the thrill of racing and winning, have a lot of fun and value enthusiasm and team work above all else. We believe that technical perfection, strategy and teamwork will win out over brute strength. Currently we are coached by Linda Sword. (Past Coaches include Ian Howes, and Dominic Yu). Smoke has had respectable results and we plan to build on this achievement in training and competitions. |
